Information is Key

Communications entail telephone, fax and e-mail messages or more complex technologies, such as our Warehouse Management System, EDI, Bar Coding, Radio Frequency (RF), and the Internet using software programs that will provide secured access to supply chain data through a web browser. The complexity of a business dictates the timeliness of communications and the methods necessary to accomplish the end goal.

Foreign Trade Zone

From Australia to Zimbabwe, Allied has the ability to ship anywhere in the world. Our Foreign Trade Zone ensures that our clients receive the best possible price to boost their bottom lines.

Allied Logistics operates one of the only inland Foreign Trade Zones in the Mid Atlantic Region of the United States. This invaluable resource is a must for any US company importing or exporting goods throughout the world. U.S. Foreign-Trade Zones are considered outside of U.S commerce for Customs purposes. This enables companies to defer duty paymentso on merchandise until it is entered into U.S. commerce. If the merchandise is subsequently re-exported from the FTZ, no Customs entry is filed, and no duty paid on the merchandise.
